UM System Broadband Update: Bringing Broadband to a Missouri Community

On June 1, the UM System Broadband Leadership Team, university researchers and community stakeholders convened to create a plan for bringing broadband to a pilot community, Bollinger County, MO.
Join us on July 8 to learn about the groups’s findings and the actionable plan for Bollinger County that will serve as a model for other communities across the state on how to work toward more affordable and accessible broadband.
During this webinar, you’ll also learn about the Missouri Broadband Resource Rail developed by the Broadband Leadership Team. |
| The free, web-based resource will assist in the expansion of broadband and adoption of broadband-based applications in agriculture, business, education, government services and healthcare.
The Resource Rail includes research, community education and service projects related to broadband expansion and development of broadband-based applications involving UM System faculty and staff and hosts government, business and nonprofit resources related to broadband.
