You’re invited to a webinar on the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB), a $3.2 billion program to help cover the cost of internet subscriptions for low-income households and those affected by the pandemic.
The $50-$75 per month subsidy could help bridge the digital divide. Unfortunately, not everyone that qualifies will know how or where to sign up. Community organizations, digital inclusion coalitions, libraries and schools are some of the groups best positioned to promote the EBB and help qualifying households sign up for service.
Presenters will share the latest developments on the EBB, including information on:
1. Who is eligible and how they can sign up
2. What’s covered by the EBB…and what isn’t
3. Examples of community-based outreach efforts you can use in your own outreach
There is no cost to attend but registration is required.
