Charting a Course Towards Public-Private Partnerships (P3s)

August 18, 2021 @ 1:00 am - 2:00 pm

Presented by Rob Hoyler & the TomTom Team, this webinar will further explore the “T2 P3+1” concepts for initiating an effective foundation to support the development of public-private partnerships, which were introduced during the recent P3 Fireside Chat.

While the lack of a formal blueprint for developing geospatial P3s, or the existence of pre-conceived notions/constraints, may cause some initial trepidation about engaging in a P3; this “blank canvas” should be viewed as an opportunity to help design the standards for leveraging collaborative approaches to optimize mutually-beneficial results; based upon scenarios which are relevant to your organization, yet suitable to be tailored for broader applications. Remember, “opportunities” which are not seized & acted upon are meaningless; and one size does not fit all – “if you have seen one P3, you have seen one P3”.

The intent of this interactive session is to look beyond pre-conceived constraints, and generate ideas for applying these concepts to benefit individual scenarios, discuss inherent challenges, and create some momentum to propel collaborative development activities, post-webinar, which could then evolve into more formalized pilot activities for further assessment. Insights will also be provided regarding relevant TomTom initiatives and capabilities which might be beneficial to apply towards certain use cases.
