Friends of the Facts: A News Literacy Fair

June 27 - June 28

Feeling overwhelmed by your social media feed? Not sure how to figure out what’s true and what’s not? Even less sure that your students or loved ones know?

Join us at the Missouri School of Journalism’s news literacy fair June 27 – 28, 2022! Meet and learn from national experts in the field of news literacy. Brainstorm with teachers, librarians and community leaders from across our region.

Let’s help each other turn the challenge of our digital age into an opportunity to open horizons and advance civic — and civil — dialogue.

Among other things, we’ll be discussing ways to:

  • Spot misinformation and disinformation
  • Pass those news literacy skills to others
  • Start your own news literacy program and get funding for it

Visit our website to view speakers, agenda and to register.
