The Fiber Broadband Association and Cartesian are proud to release findings from our second annual Fiber Deployment Cost Study.
It’s now more critical than ever to understand the cost of fiber deployment for providers across the country. The Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program is in full swing, with many states in the process of selecting providers for deployment projects. Alongside BEAD’s $42.45B in federal funding, we are seeing a huge influx of private investment aimed at the same goal: to connect all Americans with high-speed internet access.
Supporting historic levels of fiber deployment, we launched this annual study to equip the industry with reliable deployment cost benchmarks. Building on insights from last year’s report, this study continues to help the industry and policymakers alike chart the path for fiber to reach the greatest number of Americans.
