The FCC’s Cable Franchise Order – One Year Later

In August 2019, the FCC issued its Section 621 Order, which is arguably its most consequential cable franchising ruling in the last 20 years. We will be reviewing the state of affairs one year later. How have cable operators and local governments responded? How have both sides valuated in-kind benefits? Has the Order impacted the calculation of gross revenues? Our experts will answer these questions and help you navigate the process for negotiating with cable operators to minimize the loss in franchise fees.
